Protecting the environment is a huge part of our ethos here at Ride-away. We recently moved into our brand new, state of the art, energy performance ‘A rated’ warehouse where we make use of 100% renewable energy, rainwater and 100% biogas. We’ve also made a pledge to reduce the amount of plastic packaging we’re sending to our customers and are hoping to inspire our suppliers to work in the same way. So when we heard that Ariat were producing an Eco-friendly jacket, we just had to have it!
Introducing the Ariat Momento H20 Jacket…
Ariat have introduced new innovation with this jacket as they use earth friendly Eco Dry Technology. EcoDry is a DWR (durable water repellent) feature that mimics nature. It offers protection again the elements in an earth friendly way by the using hydrocarbons, instead of fluorinated polymers.
Not only is this jacket doing its bit for the environment, it’s also packed with practical features that are geared towards horse riders. The seams are fully sealed making this jacket wind and waterproof – rest assured that you’ll stay dry in even the heaviest of downpours. The dual layer Cold Series technology offers moisture wicking properties as well as insulation to keep you cosy during long winter days at the yard. Teamed with Cool Climate Insulation™, you have a technical jacket with all the warmth and no bulk.
So that’s the important stuff covered, now for the design features. There’s an elastic toggle inside so that you can pull it in at the waist for a more tapered and flattering fit as well as attractive silver popper studs for a premium look. Any horse rider knows that good roomy pockets are essential for a winter riding jacket. This one comes with 3 zippered hand pockets for all your bits and pieces. It also comes complete with a removable hood to safely transition you from the stable and into the saddle.
